For the last 34 hours the armed group that attacked a police building in Yerevan on July 17 has been deprived of food and medical services.
Last night mobile communication and electric supply were cut off, Alek Yenigomshyan, a Founding Parliament member, told reporters on Monday.
“All the communication lines have been cut off. The authorities are escalating the situation despite the fact that the ruling regime stated its readiness to continue negotiations in a favorable atmosphere. The group members have over the last days proved they do not want any escalation,” he said.
Last night the “regime” escalated the situation by attempting an approach to the building.
“This morning they made a step to escalation as well. Ten minutes ago snipers began doing dirty deed. This proves the authorities are not going to continue talks in a calm atmosphere.”
